What Causes Persistent Lower Back Pain?

i have lower back pain when i lie down at night..sometimes the pain is chronic other times mild,,then i can actually sleep. I have started to sleep in chair at the diningroom table to get some sleep and relief. Slipped disc or something more serious? No painkillers or anti inflammatorys work to relieve the pain...only sitting upright.

Hi,

It could be slipped disc or nerves pressure. You should get a neurologist opinion.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
