What Causes Persistent Menstrual Flow For Two Months?
Hi. My period has been ongoing for almost 2 months. Blood tests shows my hormone levels are normal and a pelvic ultrasound shows my uterus is retroverted, non-gravid and normal in size. No discrete fibroid, endometrium and ovaries normal and the urinary bladder and kidneys are unremarkable. What could be causing my ongoing period?
As first line management, you can take drugs like tranexamic acid to control bleeding. If bleeding persists better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
