What Causes Persistent Mild Pain In The Rib Cage Post Trauma?

I had a bad fall 7wks ago while ice skating landed on my bum which sent a sharp pain up my spine and stopped at my lower rib in the right side of my back. I was completely winded and in pain.. I presumed I damaged my rib and the pain was very bad I took painkillers and rested.. But since then the same area can still give me problems when doing normal everyday tasks Also the pain had gotten better 2 wks ago but now the pain/dull ache is constantly there and is around my front rib now! This is wks after the fall.. I cannot understand why I am getting pain in a different place now!! Is it possible for internal brushing to cause problems.. I never bruised at the time of the fall...

we don' t know if the problem is muscoloskeletal or if it's worse.
the only way (what you might to do next time after a trauma) is a radiography of the chest. the fact that the pain is being shifted may not be a good thing. however, only with anamnestic information we can't understand completely your issue.
