What Causes Persistent Nausea Along With Chills?

I have been nauseous all day. Fell like I am going to vomit every time I move & even when lieu get down. I have been drinking ginger ale & eating crackers. Also very cold in spite to f blanket & sweater. What is best thing to do? I have not visited mites, but almost feel like I would feel better if I do.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Very likely you are having a viral infection that is causing you the chills and nausea. You will need to take frequent small amounts of food and water to make sure you keep yourself hydrated and also rest as possible. Metoclopramide would be helpful to reduce nausea.

If you notice no improvement in a few days or you notice any new symptoms or worsening, you will need to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
