What Causes Persistent Numbing Pain Around The Area Of Dog S Bite?

Hi, I had a minor dog bite above my ankle area last month. It did not bleed or anything. It was bruised for a few days and started to get better. But for some reason, it still hurts! When I touch the area, it is sort of numb. I didn t go to doctors since It didn t bleed and the bite didn t really get inside my skin. Any idea what s going on? Thank you!

DEAR,
as per ur history it doesnot seems to be a major problem and likely possibility is a damage of superfcial nerve ending resulting in numbness...but to enlight u i 'll mention that u must go for anti rabies vaccine even if dog licks only or slightest abrasion.
in my opinion...if numbness persists or u get other symptoms like muscle cramping or rigidity , visit a consultant at the earliest.
thanks.
