What Causes Persistent Ovarian Pain?

Been having severe debilitating left ovarian pain for 3 years and its been getting worse. I had an ablation 5 yrs ago and my doctor recently did a pelvic exam. He ordered a CA-125? I don t know what to expect from this. I m scared it might be ovarian cancer as different kinds of breast cancer runs in my family although beca genes haven t been detected. Can u help me with any advice? Thank you
