My skin hurts in the private area my Testical constantly itches doctor prescribed acyclovir how long should I take it for if the test for herpesvirus was negative why do I get hot flashes on my skin and feel at times different places inside of my body like its on fire?

For an acute case we usually give the medication 5 times daily, for the next 7-10 days. Please speak to your doctor about the dosage as I do not know whether yours is an cute, chronic or recurrent case.
