What Causes Persistent Pain And Pricking Sensation In The Legs?

Hi Iam taking 4 75 grams a day,for trapped nerve in top leg,& no relief ,as well as taking 8 paracetamol 24 hrs,can I take more tabs,what can Ido to stop this pain shooting down the leg,& standing up ,pins& needles I do have bone cancer ??? But never had this pain,since going through a bone as canner ,& getting very stressed,I do have have another one comming in 1 week,& really scared as I get sharp pain when I lye flat.???

Hello,

Paracetamol is not that effective for trapped nerve pain. Nonsteroid anti-inflammatory medication like Ibuprofen are the next step if you have no contraindications (unfortunately you don't say much about age and accompanying conditions).

If not enough medication for chronic and neuropathic pain like gabapentin, pregabalin or duloxetine are the next step.

Further steps depend on test results, if your scan shows a nerve compression then local injections of steroids and analgesics may be done.
