What Causes Persistent Pain And Sprain On Left Side Of Penis?
Hi, Recently about two weeks back I started having election problems but managed with some effort to get decent hardness. Within a few days of it I developed discomfort on left side of penis with some visible bending. This discomfort then grew into persistent pain and sprain like feeling on left side of penis. My doctor advised me a rest for one week from all sexual activities. After which there is perceptible relief in pain but my elections are difficult and the girth of the penis appears to be reduced. Kindly suggest some remedy Regards
You seem to have injured your penis during sexual activity or masturbation or unknowingly by rolling over in bed on an erect penis etc. It appears to be a case of something called as fracture penis (a condition where there is a tear in the soft tissue of penis). It may be managed with pain killers and giving rest to the organ. If the condition doesn't improve then you may consult a urologist for surgical repair also. You can get the confirmation of presence of fracture by getting yourself examined and also by an ultrasound.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
