What Causes Persistent Pain And Swelling In The Jaw?

I ve had a swollen lymph node and swollen left face at the same time. The Surgeon removed the lump which was benign but he said it was a lot like a small clot. At the same time I have been having headaches on that side of my head. My neurologist sent me for an MRI to make sure I was wasn t having an aneurism. Any thoughts? The left jaw swelling and pain is still there.
