I work in an office so not on my feet, I never went to see a doctor when this happened I just treated it myself. Do you think I should see a doctor. Thank you

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You can have ankle sprain or fracture like condition

Local part x ray should be done

For ankle sprain rest is needed

Ibuprofen given for five days

Ice application and leg raise useful to reduce swelling....

You might need bracing or elastic compression wrap for walking

Walking with crutch advisable

So yes consult orthopedic surgeon for this

Take care
