What Causes Persistent Pain And Swollen Lump On Top Of Hand?

Hello my question is over the past 2 days I have been having pain in my hand and wrist today it has gotten horrible to the point I can t move my finger or wrist without having excruciating pain. Also I have a swollen lump that is red on the top of my hand, I did have some hand trauma, so I was wondering if this could be an abscess or a possible fracture etc.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the history of trauma then it could be chances of infection and this needs to be ruled out and needs to be treated accordingly and best medicine would be "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day "Tab Ciprofloxacin 500 mg" twice in day hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
