What Causes Persistent Pain At The Back Of Head And Neck?

I have had a headache at the back of my head/neck for several days now. I thought it was a side effect of several different things but I get the headache without using any of those items. I now wonder if it could be from a tincture my naturopath is giving me. I know I need to talk to her about it.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain at the back of head and neck. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis , cervical radiculopathy , muscle strain or disc problem . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to neck and back , do light stretching exercises under expert , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take proper rest . If condition doesn't get well then consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or physical examination .
