General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is normal to experience some pain and discomfort at the incision site after gallbladder surgery. However, if the pain is severe and interfering with your daily activities, it is advisable to call your doctor and inform them about your symptoms. They may recommend some pain medication or ask you to come in for an evaluation to rule out any complications such as infection or hernia.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
