What Causes Persistent Pain In Back And Leg Despite Suffering From Varicose Veins?

Hi, my mom has been suffering from back pain since long and was once treated by dr. chakrabirty in siliguri ५ years back once. now her back pains periodically. But her right leg is much paining than back. she cannot walk properly. prolonged standing leads to much pain. she also has varicose veins on the same leg. but on consulting a general physician, he told varicose veins was not much problem and told that a nerve has been stuck ( he told नसा च्यपिनु in nepalI actually) in her back and suggested for MRI. Can anyone suggest where to go and what to do?

Hello,

The back pain is probably due to nerve compression cause by protruding inter-vertebral disc. MRI is required to diagnose the condition. Management of condition can be done after exact diagnosis of the condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
