What Causes Persistent Pain In Between The Ribcage And Hips?

I v had a pain on my left side between my rib cage and hip for about three months now,it seems to rsdiate to the left side of my abdomen occassionaly,I v had anMRI which tipically shows spine problems for me an 87 yr OLD,am under going rehab for the splne problem which my orthopedic Dr.thinks might be a source of my pain ,I also had a CT scan w/ contrast about amonth and half ago results for organs were negative, I CANT HELP thinking some thing else is at work ,I also have no energy which is unusual for me as I work out three or four times at a gym. YYYY@YYYY

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in abdomen and pain between rib cage and hip can be due to degeneration of inter-vertebral discs.
Degeneration of inter-vertebral discs can cause disc protrusion or disc prolapse.
You need to consult your orthopedician for clinical assessment and management.
