What Causes Persistent Pain In Between The Shoulder Blade And Spine?
I have pretty consistent pain between my shoulder blade and spine on the right side. I see a Chiropractor, traction and adjustments seem to help but I don t understand why some days are almost unbearable while others are not. Ibuprofen, muscle relaxers, etc don t seem to even take the edge off. They make me tired but I still feel pain.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in between the shoulder blade and spine . Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like musxle spasm of back . pain due to trigger points of trapezius muscle , cerviral spondolysis , shoulder joint problem , lung infection , cardiac problem or lymphadenopathy in armpits . I would suggest you to take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and swelling , do light stretching exercises of upper back and shoulder , apply warm compresses on affected area , do not lift heavy object or start physical therapy of back . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order X-ray or CT scan . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with supplements . Doctor may also refer you to chiropractor .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
