What Causes Persistent Pain In Hip?

I am a 55 year old female in amazing health according to my doctor. I moved furniture over the weekend and have been having some pain in my hip for two days now. I have taken Ibuprofen 400 mg in the morning (6:00), I teach school and do a lot of walking and standing , but I have found by 10:00 a.m. the pain is gone.

the pain was due to sprain.. take few days rest.use hard bed. can take ibuprofen for 5days after food. apply relaxyl ointment locally and take warm compression on back.
