Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am having pain in my left hip. The pain is almost constant. I have trouble sitting, bending and sleeping especially when I try to get out of bed while laying on my back. What would cause this problem? Do you have any suggestions to get some relief until I see my family physician? Thank you.
Welcome at HCM I have gone through your query and being your physician i completely understand your health concerns. For how long u are suffering from it? Any other associated problem? like diabetes or hypertension? Any history of TB in past or exposure to TB? Are u running fever? There is need to get the X ray of affected joint to look for any pathology. You may need to use painkillers along with muscle relaxants. Physiotherapy is very helpful in this setting. Meet orthopedic surgeon for proper assessment Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain Get well soon Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask Regards Dr Saad Sultan
