Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in left chest . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like heart attack , angina , acid reflux , disorders of the esophagus , viral bronchitis , bruised ribs , sore muscles and panic attack . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out more serious condition and for test like troponin t test , TMT , complete blood profile and check vitals . Doctor may prescribe isosorbid nitrate , betablockers , frusamide , sedatives and aspirin . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux or chest specialist for chest problem .
