What Causes Persistent Pain In Left Eye?

My 17yr old son has been having pain in his left eye. We took him to the eye doctor they said it could be cluster headaches. We took him to his regular doctor and they really didn't give us any answers. Just said to keep an eye on him. He is getting these pains everyday, several times a day. What can I do to help him?

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
Headaches can be due to refractive errors, stress, lack of sleep, lack of nutritious food, allergy to some food or dehydration also..
If there is no refractive error found, relax..
Make sure that your son is having proper food and sleep.
Let him relax without any undue stress or tension..
You can give him pain killers if headache is severe..
If it continues to bother him in a bad way consult a neurophysician to probe further and get necessary investigations when indicated..
Hope this information helps you..Take care..
