hello, I have had back trouble in the past. and im not sure if these pains in my legs are through my back or not. I haven t got much pain in my back, but have had painful legs for nearly 3 weeks, and my right leg has hardly any strength in it . the pain is constant and at nite I can not relieve it in any way. I have never experienced any thing like it. please help.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like achilles tendinitis , deep vein thrombosis , fibromyalgia , herniated disk , osteoarthritis , peripheral neuropathy or rheumatoid arthritis. I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order nerve conduction test blood test along with CT scan and MRI to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe methotrexate , allopurinol , muscle relaxant along with physical therapy and stretching exercises .
