What Causes Persistent Pain In Lower Back?

I am experiencing an inner pain on my left side, lower back area. It does not hurt if you touch it, the pain is inside. I cannot move/walk without pain... The pain on a scale from 1 to 10 when I am moving is a 8 sometimes a 10. It started today. I was not doing anything that stands out that I can say might have contributed to what I am experiencing. I have been taking ibophrene. What are your thoughts?
