General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Persistent pain in the lower left-sided back commonly occurs due to sprains & strains, muscle strain, sciatica, neurological issues, spinal column or disc issues, etc.

Pain in the knees is indicative of OA or RA. Do regular walking & exercises to stay fit.

Gabapentin is an anticonvulsant used also in the treatment of neuralgia. This medicine gives relieve for 18-21 hours.

Hilin GM is slow acting & may take 8 weeks to show its effect & may last for quite the same time after the medicines have stopped being taken.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
