Hello,

I have read your question. I would like to give some tests:

1. Complete Blood Tests including Calcium level
2. Liver Function Test
3. Whole Abdomen USG
4. Chest X-Ray

For now, these tests will suffice. I would also like to ask you:

1. Is there any history of fall down or trauma of any kind?
2. Is there any pain in the back?
3. Is the pain related to breathing in or out?
4. May I know your weight and Height?
5. I would like to ask your gender and age?

For now, I would like to give some medicines

1. For pain, Ibuprofen 300 mg as needed
2. Alendronate 5mg orally once a day for 1 month
3. Vitamin and calcium supplements (any)

Eat healthy diets and diets rich in calcium. If your weight is more, please try to control it. Do not smoke or consume alcohol.

Please post the test results and answers here so that a doctor can follow you up. Please do not worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
