What Causes Persistent Pain In Right Side Of Lower Back?

I have been in constant pain on my right side of my lower back area, I have had xrays, scans but they come back ok, got a new surgery and the dr said itsbecausemy spine from my waist to cocxt? turning left and she said its like a cancer pain ? cannot do much now,but silly things like gardening housework isuffer hours later ??? don t know what else could it be please keeps me awake I get about 2/3 hrs sleep

Hello,

It may be due to muscle sprain.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Heating pads may help.

Restrict your movements.

Still in case of not getting relief you may require ultrasound or MRI back to rule out any other possibilities for renal stone.
