What Causes Persistent Pain In Shoulders, Arms And Leg?

I am having moderate to severe pain in both shoulders and arms. Feels like muscular maybe. Also pain in right leg below knee. MRI of c-spine has degenerative changes but not major. At night I feel like my arms are broken when I try to move them. Any guidance? Thanks!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in shoulders, arms and leg . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like fibromyalgia , cervical spondylosis , compressed fracture , arthritis , sciatica or disc problem . I would suggest you to take proper rest , apply warm, compresses on leg , back and shoulder and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with physical examination and blood test . Doctor may recommend physical therapy of spine , prescribe muscle relaxant along with vitamin supplement for quick healing , methotrexate . In severe cases doctor may recommend surgery .
