What Causes Persistent Pain In The Body?

I am a 52 year old woman and are experiencing body and hand pain daily. It may be arthritis but it is in my back, legs and hands. If I sit for even 1/2 hour and get up I am limping because of the pain. I am worried it might be bone cancer. Does this sound right?

Hello, Thanks for the query.Pains in the whole of body and hands could be due to many reasons like mild fever, under active thyroid, general weakness etc. Why should one think about cancer (of which part?). My suggestion is get your uric acid and thyroid function test done. If there is any problem in those then specific treatment can be started. Some times deficiency of vitamin D or calcium etc can also cause pains and aches. Please also get your fasting and PP blood glucose checked and then come back. Do not just jump to a conclusion like having cancer. Thanks.
