What Causes Persistent Pain In The Chest?

I have been experiencing chest pains almost daily for brief periods of time. I saw a Cardiologist last week and had a CT scan with contrast today. Good news is my heart is great - no issues. I am now being referred to a gastro doctor. What could be potential problems. Thank you, Lisa

breathing difficulty is acommon problem of old age and have more than one cause for investigations

anemia is one of the most common causes as it will decrease your energy and affect metabolism so causes breathing difficulty and increase heart rate
so you should do complete blood cout to role it out

second cause is costochondritis that occur alot of time to many people and ibubrufen can improve it
also gastroesophageal reflux cause persistant burning pain sensation
some times there is myococrdial infarction may cause that and you need to do stress ecg test to role that out and you have done that and no worry...

severe effort also that causes your fatigue in this age considered main cause of these symptoms

also stress and anxiety have great role in these symptoms so try to avoid stress and any psychological troubles
