Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Persistent Pain In The Elbow Despite Taking Medication?
I have been having pain in my elbow for approx. 3 weeks. I am being treat homeopathic remedy. The remedies work perfect temporarily but the pain come back. I fell about 5 mts ago. Could this be associated with it.! Although I am just beginning to feel ?
Pain in elbow joint in your case is more likely related to the reason that you fell 5 months ago. Did you fall on your elbow? and if it got hurt and you ignored the pain?
There might be some problem related to the joint and it’s structures. To know the exact cause behind it.
I would suggest you see a doctor and he will ask you to get an X-ray of the elbow joint if required, after doing a physical examination and with all history. He might ask you for some additional diagnostic tests.
Also if needed he will prescribe you some medicines for the pain management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
