What Causes Persistent Pain In The Feet At Night?

I have constant pain in my feet. It worsens at night and my feet are very tender when I wake up. I do not have diabetes, however I have had some frostbite experiences in the past. My feet feel like they are on fire at times. I just moved to a cold climate to a very warm climate.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to peripheral neuropathy. I recommend you to do a glicemia blood level to exclude diabetes.

Meanwhile, I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
