What Causes Persistent Pain In The Groin?

I have been seeing a doctor about pain in my groin area. I had a hernia years back. They said I do not have another hernia, they have done an ultra sound and now a scan and said they can not find any problem. They now have scheduled another test to view everything. What could this be? I m not sure if I had the hernia mesh way back but could this be the cause? If so, why can t they tell?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

If hernia and testicular problems have been ruled out, then possible hip problems like osteoarthritis need to be ruled out. Please be advised to undergo Xray pelvis and hips. Meanwhile, you can take Advil for pain.

Hope this answers your questions
Please let me know if you need further clarifications
