What Causes Persistent Pain In The Mid Upper Back And Upper Abdomen?
about a month or so ago, I start experiencing unusual rumbling sound in my lower left abdomen and I was burping 8 to 12 hours after a meal. recently and about couple of weeks ago, I start experiencing a pain in my middle and upper back and finally and about a week ago, I start having sharp pain in my upper abdomen and upper right back area where i believe the liver is. I suspect it may be my gallbladder. I don t feel nauseate and no vomiting, just the pain under my right shoulder. If it is not the gallbladder, what could it be?
Management will depend on cause .... Ovarian cyst , colitis, PID etc can be the cause .... You have not mentioned gender so suspecting ovarian cause also if patient is female ...
USG will detect gall bladder problem if present like stone or inflammation....
Take care ...
Advise : Physician consultation for examination and than accordingly further subsequent work up.......
