What Causes Persistent Pain In Throat After Swallowing Bone?
Hi I think I may have a chicken bone stuck in my throat or else it cut my tonsil . I have a razor blade sharp pain in it and can t swallow. I gurgled disprin which helped for a while.. I went to my chemist who gave me an Oromuscosal spray and some nurofen but I am still waking up in agony. Any suggestions
Hello Looking at your description this seems to be related to inflammation of the throat, owing to injury caused by passage to chicken bone.
In my opinion you should continue with neurofen and oromucosal spray. In addition that you should do gargling with warm.saline water or.antiseptic mouth wash
Have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables Multivitamin supplements are advisable.
If it doesn't heal in 2 to 3days than you should see an ENT surgeon for physical examination and confirmation of diagnosis. You may require a course of antibiotics under supervision. wishing you good health.
