What Causes Persistent Pain In Vagina Despite Taking Antibiotics?

I am having vaginal pain. I had some a few weeks ago that was determined in a wlak in clinic to be a bladder infection. I was put on antibiotics and the pain went away. I then had a normal period and had pain then again a week later (tonight) while having intercourse. The pain lasted for approx 1 hour outside of my vaginal area.

From history it seems that there might be having some infection in your lower genital tract giving rise this problem.
You might require vaginal swab testing to know type of infection.
After report your Gynaec will go for treatment accordingly.
