What Causes Persistent Pain On The Right Side?

ive had a pain in my right side for over 2 weeks. its very painful to the touch, and when i cough and/or sneeze. i currently have prostate cancer, could this be associated with this? i have also had an operation in 1996 for rectal cancer and have a colostomy.

Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.

Usually prostate cancer spreads to lower spine so if that area is involved in pain you have mentioned then you better consider visiting your doctor and discussing this with him if you are having chest pain then coughing for long period can be the cause, or general weakness can be the cause in that case simple visit a GP and he will give you ideas, this might need some proper examination and
xray or if he suspects a gall bladder issue then he might get an ultrasound done.
