What Causes Persistent Painful Goose Bumps On The Sciatica Nerve Distribution?
I have left leg goose bumps on sciatica nurbe distribution for 3 years, now it is associated with some pain which is tolerable, no weakness , no urinary or bowel incontinence. I had emg - negative. X ray positive for L4l5 and L5- S1 foraminal stenosis. I also have bad migraine headachws- x ray of cervical spine bilateral C4 through C7 bilateral significant foraminal narrowing, MRI of the head wwo contrast - nl.
Noted your history of goose bumps in the distribution of sciaticanerve for 3 years, tolerable pain, no weakness, no urinary or bowel symptoms, normal EMG, X-ray indicative of stenosis and so on and MRI brain is normal. Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation: MRI of the whole spine to know the exact problems. Consult a Neurosurgeon for clinical evaluation, further investigations and proper medical or surgical management as would be advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
