Hi. For about a year and a half now I ve had pelvic pains. They are dull and achy and feels like its right on my bone. Sometimes they re random and quickly come and go but sometimes they go on for hours. Shortly after my pelvic pains (I got these before my period ever started) I got my period. Now my periods are very painful. I sometimes throw up and can t move and sometimes feel like fainting. I talked to my doctor and they did multiple pelvic exams,a cat scan, two ultrasounds, blood work but nothing has ever shown up. I was put on two birthcontrols that didn t work and I ve had an IUD for about 4 months now. I still get cramps and pelvic pains. What do you think is wrong?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Based on the symptoms and description you have given, it appears that you could be having and needs evaluation for pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Kindly consult Gynecologist for clinical examination and appropriate management. Also, it would be better to undertake ultrasound scan of the abdomen along-with. Hope the information provided helps. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
