What Causes Persistent Polymyalgia Despite Taking Hysone?
My friend,like myself suffered severe Polymyalgia ,her doctor prescribed cortisone. And about 20 mg .she says its cured.i am on hysone 4 one twice daily,this does not seem to help.could I benefit from a strong dose do you think..I am in agony 24/7 and that is not exhadurating I am 70 years old. Thanks

Steroids are not safe they are not to be used routine ly chek fevr if it is there go for investigatipns try peracetamol 500mg tds or nsaids
