HI DOCTOR, MY NAME IS BLOSSOM. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO S 38 YRS OLD. HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH HIS STOOL IT HAS LOTS OF BRIGHT RED BLOOD LIQUID WHEN PASSING STOOL 3 STRAIGHT DAYS LIKE A DIAHRREA BUT BLOOD BUT HE S NOT FEELING ANY PAIN AT ALL. WHAT CAUSES THE BLOOD IN HIS STOOL//
Hello dear I understand your concern Rectal bleeding could be due to the polyp, inflammatory bowel disease/proctitis, piles. I would suggest to consult the gastroenterologist as soon as possible and undergo routine blood test like CBC, Hb, coagulation profile, stool tests, USG scan and sigmoidoscopy to rule out cause. Specific treatment will depend on the cause. Meanwhile drink plenty of lukewarm water, take healthy diet with iron supplements, avoid stress, do regular exercise like walking and yoga Hope this may help you
