What Causes Persistent Regurgitation Of Food?

I have been regurgitating food for the past 11 days, been in the hospital for three days and still don t have any answers. I ve had MRI, Ct, abdominal X-rays, abdominal ultrasound, and a hida scan today. I am not nauseated everything just comes back up. They have me taking nausea medicine but it does not make any difference. Need help or ideas?

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

You say to have been regurgitating food for the past 11 days; have done various diagnostic tests with no answer so far. In fact, it could be great if you provide the reports of tests you did so far, so I can analyze the findings myself.

As this has been set in a short time (11 days only), it might be due to problems related to:
- gallbladder
- possible intestinal obstruction
- appendicitis

If nothing organic is found, then, it could be neurological. Further consultation with neurologist is then recommended.
