What Causes Persistent Severe Abdominal Cramps Despite Taking Treatment?

Hi..My mom is 50+ years ..from last two day she is facing extreme pain in her stomach..Also she is not able to eat or drink anything..Whenever she eat something or even drink juice she suffer bad stomach cramps..Doctor has suggested that it might be because of food poisoning and prescibes following medicine - 02, Pantop d,dom-dt 5, spldodc-ds,signoflam.. After taking these medication,she found that when she is taking medicine the pain reduce to 0.01 % however it comes back. Then we consulted our family doctor and he prescribed following medicines - O2,Enuff,Normaxin,Velgut..But she is still not feeling better..Can you provide information on what these medicines are used for ? and what else we can do to treat it better ?

O2-antibiotic
Enuff-For diarrhea like condition
Nomaxin - antispasmodic
Velgut-lactobacilli

According to your history yes mostly you could have stomatitis, acute gastritis or ulcer like condition.

You are given correct treatment by your family doctor as initial management.

With this drugs follow some instruction like...
-Drink more water
-fruit juice more
-take small meal with frequent interval
-avoid heavy fatty and fried food for few days
-avoid spicy and junk foods

If your symptoms still increasing get your stool examine for parasites with CBC.

Investigate for typhoid by widal test as it is already 1 week of your symptoms.

USG is also helpful for finding cause.

Even if your mom worsening then i will suggest you to consult gastrosurgeon for doing endoscopy and subsequent biopsy.
