What Causes Persistent Sharp Pain In Abdomen Post Gallbladder Removal?
I m continuely having a sharp pains in my upper left stomach under my breast. Had glaballer removed almost a month ago had infection in with diverticlitis due to have sigmoidoscopy colooscopy in October. But I am not regular bowel movement after taken stood softer and laxative. Should I go back to emergency?
Hello thank you for posting your query in HMC. yes , you should consult your gastroenterologist for the evalution of the pain because after gall bladder removal, in few cases these symptoms may occur due to the following reasons. as bile is not stored in gallbladder in its absence ,its being delivered directly to the small intestine when bile may leak and cause pain. after any operation infection may develop which can cause the pain. acute pancreatitis is the possibility.even gastritis can cause the pain. i would suggest you take the treatment as soon as possible .hope i have answered your query. if you have further questions i will be happy to help.
