What Causes Persistent Sharp Pain In Left Breast?

my 21 year old daughter has been complaining all day about sharp pains behind her left brest. She has a head cold and can t breath well so she has taken a decongestant. we tried putting heat then ice on her shoulder but that didn t make any difference.

pain in breast may be due to hormonal imbalance in this age.You should give her simple analgesics like paracetamol,aspirin if no bleeding disorder or gastric ulcer are there.Pain is increased due to congestion in chest for which give anticongestants,saline nabulisation or if asthmatic than salbutamol nebulisation.
