I get a continues sharp pain in my neck. sometimes it will last for a month or two. It comes for no reason, and will be fine for months. Pills, heat, nor cold will help. The pain almost brings me to tears. I have no way to go to a doctor, but a long time ago I did and they told me blah blah my dicks were messed up. My guest ion to you , is there anything I can do to help myself to elivate the pain?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You have been diagnosed with cervical disc problem probably like spondylosis or arthritis pain.

For that, you need to investigate with MRI scan of the neck or digital x-ray.

For pain relief, you can take paracetamol and diclofenac like an analgesic.

Surgical management needed if an anti-inflammatory drug doesn't work.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
