What Causes Persistent Soreness In The Breast?

I had a small boil on my nipple my gynecologist took it off. My breast has been sore since. I had my annual gynecologist exam the other day and the doctor said I was fine no lump or tumors in the breast and everything was fine should have a good mamagram but my breast still is sore sometimes not all the time. Is it ok.

Hello,
There are many things that can cause soreness in the breast and most of these are not breast cancer. It is good to have a mammogram to be sure. It could be from scar tissue or some nerve irritation from the boil removal. If so it should resolve in time. Warm compresses may help.
