What Causes Persistent Stomach Pain And Nausea Despite Giving Motrin?

My daughter is 10, she has been having stomach pain all over since 4/23, no fever, feel nausa, but hasn t brought much up and has very little appatite. She has had blood work done, ct scan, xray, and ultra sound, all came back good, they sent her home said to just give her motrin. She is still having stomach pain 4/27.

dear patient.first of all i want to point you out that motrin is not good for children to treat stomach pains at all.They add nausea and stomach pain by damaging the inside wall of the stomach and further aggravating the problem.In turn her appetite will also decrease.
She might be just suffering from just mild gastritis also known as a functional abdominal pain.That is there is no disease which is causing this problem as it has been ruled out by all the tests.
It might just be that the child might be having some anxiety,stress at school,or
The stomach has developed some form of harmless reactivity to some normal foods which triggers these pains now and then.its just that you have to find out those trigger factors.
Dont give her motrin at all.
the effective treatment and safe is herbal.like you can give her mint juice which will provide her prompt relief. also you can find out if she has any stress factors in her life. they play a very important role in these functional abdominal pains.
