What Causes Persistent Swelling And Pain On My Upper Lip, Gums, And Nose Area?

hi, I woke up yesterday morning with swelling on my upper lip and pain on upper gums. I also felt strange pain and swelling on nose area but felt there is swelling beneath the nose. I applied cold compress and took analgesic to relieve the discomfort. As I woke up the next day, upper lip swelling subside little but still there is pain that affect on the root of my tooth affecting the nose area. I often experienced weird swelling on my upper lip months ago but I disregard it because it goes away in a few hours but the feeling lately is more painful. what could it be? I hope you can help me.
