What Causes Persistent Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck Post A Tonsillectomy?
Hello, It is due to local infection and inflammatory change. A short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav can be started for five to seven days. Do warm saline gargles. If the swelling persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
