General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is suggestive of hormonal imbalance. Based on the history you seem to have prolonged bleeding after using emergency contraceptive and despite of using cap maxic. It is suggestive of hormonal imbalance for which your wife should consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and for an effective treatment to control the bleeding.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
